Last night, in the National Convention of the Democrats, something went by without capturing one’s notice as I was watching CNN USA Edition. There was this Democratic official making a passionate presentation (before Senator Clinton). HE WAS MAKING THE GREATEST CALL TO REACT AND RESPOND TO THE URGENT NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS POISED BY MODERNITY.

This gentleman exuded energy to try to capture a moment to get people in a different reflection for a while before just talking pure politics. Clearly, he was insisting hard on implementing all kinds of changes through a presumptive Democrat presidency for the next period.

He spoke not only about the climate and other perils like war, terrorism, and pandemic flu, but also concerning the extreme progression of technology in everyday life. I wonder if any news outlet noticed.

He wished people to understand that perils and risks are avoidable and, sometimes, reducible. But, also, that they poised great benefits if one works at it.

CNN journalists as John King and Jonathan Mann stated, with more or less these words, that they were amazed of the deployment of technology in the convention, compared to the most recent one.

Change can be forceful. But change can also be subtle and explosively subtle. Change can be brought out blended in many shades and colors. By the latter I mean a type of change that causes great bewilderment without knowing, as human, what has happened. Clearly, in this case, one needs to refer to cybernetics systems to understand his / her whereabouts after being IMPACTED.

Bewilderment is brought about when you learn that a huge country is having a “problem” with the 5,000 aircrafts over its heartland. When an airliner is hijacked. When there are more than one hurricane in a same area, with the most chaotic and unpredictable trajectory, coming back and forth. Plus an earthquake of relevant magnitude in Peru, not to mention the grave problems between Georgia and Russia and North Korea and Zimbabwe.
